Good evening. Welcome to the first partner, shareholder and trustee executive subcommittee meeting of the municipal year 2024 to 2025. This meeting is being recorded and webcast live on the council's website. Anyone present therefore accepts that they may be filmed or recorded. Committee members, please remember to turn on your microphones before speaking. I will open the meeting with agenda item one, election of the chair of the executive subcommittee for 2024-2025 as set out in Rygate and Banza Borough Council's constitution. In accordance with paragraph 4.11.2 of procedural rule 4 of the council's constitution, I'm representing the managing director and will conduct the election of the chair. Please can I have your nominations for chair? Good evening. Can I nominate Councillor Lewanski as chair of this committee, please? Thank you, Councillor Biggs. Is there a seconder, please? Thank you. I'm more than happy to second Councillor Lewanski as chair of the committee. Thank you, Councillor Mikulowski has seconded Councillor Lewanski as chair. So I can confirm that Councillor Lewanski is chair of this committee for 2024-2025. And I will now hand over to the chair. Thank you, Councillor Lecce. Thank you, Councillor Lecce. So my first action as chair is to welcome executive subcommittee members and any visiting members to the first partner shareholder and trustee executive subcommittee meeting of the municipal year 2024-25. Also welcome to our director Lucy Mould, strategic head of legal and governance and monitoring officer Joyce Hamilton, who is joining us via teams. As you're aware, we are now in the pre election period for the general election taking place on Thursday, the 4th of July. Guidance has been issued by the monitoring officers to members and officers. Please be mindful of this when taking part in council meetings during this period of heightened sensitivity. It would be important to ensure that council conduct during council meetings is not perceived by public as election campaigning and that the political impartiality of officers is maintained. I would like to remind members when presenting reports or asking questions to please refrain from endorsing or referencing any candidates or political parties standing in the elections and any controversial political campaigns or policies related to the election. Members are reminded to silence their mobile phones for the duration of the meeting and refrain from using their mobile phones or social media whilst the meeting is in progress. All microphones are currently muted. When called to speak, members should turn on their microphone and address the committee by speaking clearly. To assist in the smooth running of the meeting, please remember to turn off your microphones when you have finished speaking. If you have a declaration of interest to make, please raise your hand at item number five. The democratic services officer will assist any members who need to leave the chamber at that stage. If I have to adjourn the meeting at any time, I will advise that the meeting is being adjourned and state the time that it will be reconvened. The live stream will be paused and then resumed at a given time. Everyone should remain in the meeting with their microphones muted and those attending remotely can turn off their video if they so wish. So moving on to item number two on the agenda, the election of vice chair. Please can I have a nomination for the vice chair of the partner shareholder and trustee executive subcommittee for the year 2425. And I would like to propose Councillor Rich Michalowski. Thank you. So I can confirm that Councillor Rich Michalowski is vice chair of this committee for 2425. Family congratulations. So item number three, apologies for absence. There's no apologies for absence. Thank you very much. Item number four, minutes of the previous meeting. Our members here agree that the minutes and the exempt minutes of the meeting held on the 21st of March 2024 are approved as a true record of this meeting. Thank you very much indeed. Item number five, declarations of interest. Are there any declarations of interest in the business that we're being discussing tonight? No. Thank you very much. Item number six, exempt business. There is no exempt business to discuss this evening. So moving on to the final item, item number seven, any other business. I don't know and I don't think there is no items of business to be considered as a matter of urgency. So it just finally makes, I'd like to say that the date of the next executive subcommittee meeting has been moved to the 18th Thursday, the 18th of July at 6.30 PM due to the general election being called on Thursday, the 4th of July.
