An application was to be considered for K2 Mango Stall, located at 32 Hamilton Road, Manchester, M13 0PE. The report of the Director of Planning, Building Control and Licensing was provided to the panel for this item.

Mum's Kitchen

The panel was also scheduled to consider an application for Mum's Kitchen. This application related to a street trading pitch located at the street at end of Howarth Timber mesh fence, just before entrance to No. 13 . The report of the Director of Planning, Building Control and Licensing was also available for this item.

Other Scheduled Business

The agenda indicated that the panel would address any urgent business that the Chair had agreed to submit. Additionally, any appeals from the public concerning the refusal to allow inspection of background documents or the inclusion of items in the confidential part of the agenda were to be considered. The panel was also to allow members an opportunity to declare any personal, prejudicial, or disclosable pecuniary interests they might have in any items on the agenda.

The panel was also to consider resolutions to exclude the public from the meeting during the consideration of certain items. Officers believed these items contained exempt information, and that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.

The Licensing and Appeals Sub-Committee Hearing Panel is responsible for fulfilling the functions of the Licensing Authority in relation to street traders, among other licensing matters. Decisions made by the panel are under delegated authority and do not require referral to the full Council for approval.
