• Everybody, welcome to this extraordinary meeting of the council. Apologies for absence.

• Yeah, apologies for absence of Councillor Martin Terri, thank you.
• Thank you. Is there any other apologies for absence? (muffled talking) Declations of interest. Are there any declarations of interest? No? As chair of this meeting, I want to remind everyone present of the standards of behaviour and communication with respect to each other. This is part of the demonstrating how we all support the seven known and principles of public life and the council's member code of conduct within our constitution. It is important that we are respectful and reasonable to one another. We may have disagreements about matters before and during the meeting, but that will not prevent us from being courteous and respectful. This is between councils, between councils and officers, and when we have any external visitors or members of the public. I will be expecting respect to be shown at all times. Questions and comments are to be made through the chair at all times. Thank you. I'll now pass you over to the Chief Executive.
• Thank you very much, Mr. Mayor. Okay, so I'm just going to explain, A's apologies everybody for the delay in the start, but we've had just had some conversations which I will just clarify to Council at this point. So the motion that's been laid out before us this evening, is in relation to three elements. And those three elements are on your order paper as outlined in front of you. Just want to confirm, I've now had a conversation with the current leader, Councillor Tony Cox, who has informed me that he will not be undertaking the vote. And the confidence will be in essence, standing down from that position immediately. So therefore, there is no need to go through with part one and two of the motion as outlined in the report. Therefore, we will be moving straight to part three of the motion as outlined in the order paper, which is to elect a new leader of the Council, and that's what I'm going to be doing now. So may I have nominations, please? So Councillor Daniel Cowan is nominated. Is that seconded? Seconded?
