Please be seated everyone. Thank you very much. So, welcome to today's full council meeting. We don't have any members of the public in the public gallery, but we might have some people watching at home on our YouTube channel, so very welcome to them. For those of you in the building, we'd like to draw your attention to the emergency evacuation procedures. So please leave the chamber by the nearest exit and congregate by the cathedral in case of an emergency. As with any council meeting, please treat each other with due courtesy, tolerance, and respect. So item two on the agenda is apologies for absence. I've received apologies from Councillors Rippington, Dud, Breckles. Is Councillor Collar here now? [Inaudible] Oh, Councillor Breckles is here as well. Thank you, Councillor Breckles. Councillor Kalishone, Councillor Raulston, Councillor Levan, Councillor Genfry, and Councillor Tate. Are there any other apologies? Councillor Tate, Levan, sorry, Councillor Levan. Councillor Levan is here as well. Councillor Galandras and Councillor Hucker, please. Thank you very much. This list was not up-to-date. But thank you anyway. Okay. Let's move on to agenda item three, declarations of interest. Can I please ask whether any Councillors have any interest to declare regarding the items on today's agenda? Okay, thank you very much. Agenda item four is public forum and no public forum has been received for this meeting. So now let's move on to agenda item five which is the appointment of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service. I'd like to call on the leader, Councillor Tony Dyer, to move this report. Councillor Dyer. Thank you, Lord Mayor. Lord Mayor, I'd like to propose the appointment of Paul Martin as the Chief Executive. This has gone through a robust selection committee, which involved a cross-party membership. It also, there was the opportunity for all the party group leaders to also meet and discuss with Paul. The LGA provided an independent person who also assessed the process as being robust. I therefore propose that we appoint Paul Martin as the Interim Chief Executive. Thank you very much, Councillor Dyer. And I'd now like to call upon Deputy Leader, Councillor Heather Macke, to second the report. I second the report and reserve my remarks. Thank you, Councillor Macke. So I believe the recommendations are going to be shown on the screen. There we are. So we're going to have an aye, nay vote. So all in favour say aye. Aye. All opposed say nay. I think the result is pretty clear, so the ayes have it. So recommendation is to approve. So, believe it or not, that concludes agenda item 5.
