I'll start this meeting and we'll go through the process and elect chairperson and then the chairperson will take over and complete the agenda which is around the election of the vice-chair. So welcome to this first committee over in the scrutiny committee of this municipal year. I have an agenda in front of me, agenda one, item one, apologies for absence. I have received apologies from Councillor Lynne Parson and with Councillor Dr Kerry Thornhill appointed a substitute. I've also received apologies from Councillor Frank Aide. Agenda item two, declarations of interest. Are there any declarations of interest, members? There are none. Thank you very much. Appointment of chairperson for the municipal year 2024/2025. Are there any nominations for the office of chairman, please? Thank you. I'd like to nominate Councillor Dr Isabel Creed for chair. Thank you. Do you have a seconder? I do. I would like to second the nomination. Thank you very much, Councillor Thornhill. Are there any further nominations? There being no further nominations, Councillor Creed, you're appointed as chairperson of the O'Brien and Scrutney Committee. Thank you very much, everyone. Are there any nominations for vice-chairman of this committee? Yes, I'm very happy to put forward Councillor Simpson. Thank you. And is there a seconder of that nomination? Thank you, Barry.
