The committee was scheduled to consider an application for a new premises licence for GB10 Sports Limited at 177 Footscray Road in Eltham.

The applicant requested permission for:

• The supply of alcohol (both on and off the premises) from 12:00 until 23:00, Monday to Sunday.
• Opening hours of 12:00 to 23:30, Monday to Sunday.

Ten representations were received from members of the public objecting to the application. All of the representations predominantly concerned the licensing objective of the prevention of public nuisance. No comments were received from any of the Responsible Authorities.

The report set out a number of options for the Sub-Committee to consider, these included:

• Granting the application with the conditions from the operating schedule unmodified.
• Granting the application with modified conditions.
• Refusing the application.

The sub-committee was scheduled to note the list of Councillors’ memberships (as Council appointed representatives) on outside bodies, joint committees and school governing bodies. The report reminded Councillors of their obligation to declare any personal or financial interests in specific items listed on the agenda as they relate to matters under discussion.
