The Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting included an informal market place event, where residents could meet with councillors and council staff, before the formal meeting, where attendees were scheduled to hear a presentation about the Hounslow Health Strategy and discuss local issues.

Hounslow Health Strategy

Councillors were scheduled to receive a presentation about the Hounslow Health Strategy. The strategy uses data to identify the major health issues faced by residents, and identifies five health conditions that are significantly more prevalent in each age group than in the London Borough of Hounslow as a whole. The report identifies that 15.6% of households in Feltham and Bedfont are overcrowded, compared to 14.6% in Hounslow as a whole, and that 2.5% of homes in the area do not have central heating, compared to 2.2% in the rest of the borough. The report goes on to say that:

Open Forum

The meeting was scheduled to include an open forum session, where members of the public could raise issues of local concern with councillors. The minutes of the previous meeting on 28 November 2024 included a number of points that were raised during the open forum session of that meeting, and included updates from council officers on the actions that had been taken.
