The Pension Investment Sub-Committee of Worcestershire County Council met on 7 April 2025 to discuss housing investment options for the Worcestershire Pension Fund. The sub-committee was scheduled to hear a presentation from the Man Group and to review a report from Reddington Ltd. Following the presentations, a discussion was scheduled.

Housing Investment Options

The sub-committee was scheduled to discuss a review of housing investment options from Reddington Ltd and to hear a presentation from the Man Group on housing investment.

The Reddington Ltd review included an overview of the UK housing market, including commentary on:

• Affordable housing
• Social housing
• Private rented sector (PRS)
• Build to Rent (BTR)
• Later Living

The review also included a discussion of the risks and opportunities associated with investing in housing, as well as a comparison of different investment strategies.

The Man Group presentation was also scheduled to cover similar topics, and to provide an overview of the Man Group's approach to housing investment.

Following the presentation and review, a discussion was scheduled to take place.
