The Firefighters' Pension Scheme Local Pension Board met on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, to discuss several items related to the Firefighters' Pension Scheme. These included a monitoring report, pension bulletins, a retained firefighters' pension settlement, contribution adjustments, a draft risk register and client reports from West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF). The meeting was not open to the general public.
Monthly Client Reports from WYPF
The board was scheduled to review monthly client reports from the WYPF1. These reports provide an overview of the pension fund's performance and activities.
Draft Risk Register
The board was scheduled to discuss a draft risk register. Risk registers are used to identify, assess, and manage potential risks to the pension scheme.
Retained Firefighters' Pension Settlement
The board was scheduled to discuss the Retained Firefighters' Pension Settlement Second Options Exercise. The report pack included information on this exercise, provided by Matthews.
