The Special Committee Re: Appointment of Children and Families Posts met to conduct interviews for three key positions within the Children and Families services. The positions being interviewed for were:

• Assistant Director for Children in Care and Care Leavers

The agenda for the meeting indicates that after the initial formalities, the committee moved to exclude the public to discuss the exempt minutes of the previous meeting and to conduct the interviews for these positions. The Local Government Act 1972, Schedule 12A, paragraph 1 allows for the exclusion of the public when discussing information that is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.
