Objections and Support
According to the report pack, 61 objections and 5 letters of support had been received in relation to the application. Key concerns raised in the objections included:

- Highway safety issues, particularly due to the proximity of a school.

The East Coulsdon Resident's Association supported the proposed change of use, but raised concerns about potential parking issues, lack of EV charging points, noise from the car wash, and flooding. They requested conditions to mitigate these issues.
Chris Philp MP supported the residents association's comments and asked that the council ensure vehicles associated with the business are parked on site.

The minutes record that the committee resolved to grant an outline application for the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of 9 x 3 storey terrace houses at Works Rear Of 209 – 225 Davidson Road, Croydon, CR0 6DP.
