The Executive Director of Adults and Health, supported by Senior People and Inclusion colleagues, undertook 'longlisting' on 9 October 2025. A 'technical' interview was undertaken by each longlisted candidate on 13 and 14 October 2025.

The post-holder will deputise for the Executive Director Adults and Health who is also the statutory Director of Adult Social Services (DASS).¹

• Integrated Learning Disability and Physical Disability Service
• Mental Health Social Work
• Principal Social Worker
• Quality, Insight and Financial Services

Local Government Act 1972 - Access to Information

The Sub-Committee was asked to consider excluding the public and press from the meeting during consideration of the item regarding the Director of Adult Social Care Operations - Shortlisting Panel. This was because the agenda contained information that was considered exempt under Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972. Specifically, it was thought that publicity would be likely to lead to the disclosure of information relating to individuals, or information which is likely to reveal the identity of individuals, by virtue of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2006.
