The Sutton Local Committee met to discuss the Sutton Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration plans, receive an update from the Sutton Housing Partnership, and hear a presentation on actions taken towards net zero as part of the Climate Scorecards. Sutton Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration

The Sutton Local Committee was scheduled to receive an update from Helen John on actions taken towards net zero as part of the Climate Scorecards. The indicative timing for this item was 5-10 minutes.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting

The minutes of the meeting held on 19 June 2025 were included in the report pack. Councillors were asked to approve the minutes as an accurate record of the meeting. The minutes include a summary of the presentations given by young people on the themes of safety, inclusivity and mental health. A poem written and presented to the Sutton Local Committee on 19 June 2025 by a Young Commissioner is appended to the minutes.

The minutes also record questions from Mr Midgley and Mr Hilson regarding vehicles parked on the highway, new build housing in the Sutton Central ward, and which ward the area of land under the railway bridge in Langley Park Road is situated in. The minutes also record questions from Mrs John on the launch of the 2025 Council Climate Action Scorecards and damage to street trees.
