The Hampstead Heath Consultative Committee met on Monday 17 November 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including the appointment of a new member, updates on grant funding and the Hampstead Heath Ponds project, and the remarketing of cafes at Hampstead Heath. Some of these items were scheduled to be discussed in public session, and others in a non-public session.
Appointment of representative from Mansfield Conservation Area Advisory Committee
The committee was scheduled to consider the appointment of a new external member, Dr Victoria Holt, nominated by the Mansfield Conservation Area Advisory Committee & Neighbourhood Association Committee, to represent local interests.
Dr Holt is a General Practitioner who has used Hampstead Heath for over 20 years, and has participated in the Heath Duathlon annually since 2012, and has been a near-weekly participant in the Park Run since 2017, where she also volunteers. She has also served as Health Lead for Welcome Syrian Families and then West Hampstead Welcomes, both Home Office Community Sponsorship initiatives, introducing Syrian refugees to Hampstead Heath.
The report noted that under the London Government Reorganisation (Hampstead Heath) Order 1989, the committee should consult with a number of local groups, and such other bodies appearing to the City to represent local interests as it considers appropriate
.
Grant funding model and fundraising briefing
The committee was scheduled to receive a presentation from officers regarding the grant funding model and fundraising.
Hampstead Heath Ponds
The committee was scheduled to receive a verbal update from officers on the Hampstead Heath Ponds.
