The panel was scheduled to discuss a pre-application for the land south of Britannia Point, site CW2, in Colliers Wood. According to the agenda, the proposal is for the:

Redevelopment of vacant car park site with three buildings comprising apart-hotel, co-living units, residential units with commercial uses and associated public realm and landscaping.

The case officer for this application is Wendy Wong Chang.

The panel had previously reviewed this proposal on 7 August 2025, and gave it a 'Red verdict'.

The public reports pack noted several Development Plan policy considerations that were potentially relevant to the design of the scheme. These included considerations regarding archaeology and flood plains.

The site's buildings will be visible from the surrounding Wandle Valley Conservation Area, notably Wandle Park to the north. The site is adjacent to the listed Singlegate Primary School and within sight of the listed Colliers Wood tube station. The site also sits adjacent to the locally listed Christ Church.

The Wandle Valley site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) is adjacent to the site on its north-west side, and it will also be visible from within Colliers Wood Rec. The site and buildings will be visible from within the Merton Priory Scheduled Ancient Monument. The River Wandle Flood Zone 3a encroaches slightly into the site from the north-west.
