The Residents' Services Select Committee met to elect a chair and vice-chair for the remainder of the municipal year 2025/2026. Councillor Peter Smallwood OBE was elected as Chair, and Councillor Ekta Gohil was elected as Vice-Chair.

Election of Chair

Nominations were held for the role of Chair of the Residents' Services Select Committee. Both Councillor Peter Smallwood and Councillor Kamal Preet Kaur were nominated. A vote was taken, and Councillor Smallwood was elected as Chair with 4 votes in favour and 3 against.

Election of Vice-Chair

Nominations were then invited for the role of Vice-Chair of the Residents' Services Select Committee. Councillor Ekta Gohil was nominated, and subsequently elected as Vice-Chair of the Committee.
