This inquiry investigated the abuse of deceased individuals at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Mortuary and made recommendations for improving policies, procedures, and practices across mortuaries, hospitals, hospices, care homes, and the funeral sector to safeguard the security and dignity of the deceased.
