The Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee of Enfield Council was scheduled to hold a meeting on Wednesday, 4th February 2026. The primary item on the agenda was the final stage interviews for the role of Director of Children's Social Care.
Final Stage Interviews: Director of Children's Social Care
The committee was scheduled to conduct final stage interviews for candidates applying for the position of Director of Children's Social Care. Attendees were asked to bring the candidate packs with them to the meeting. Documents were to be provided on the day to allow members to score and record their notes on each candidate. Information relating to individuals was considered exempt from public disclosure under Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
The meeting also included standard procedural items such as a welcome and apologies, declarations of interest, and consideration for the exclusion of the press and public from Part 2 of the agenda, which was expected to contain exempt information.
