This decision was made in accordance with the Officer Employment Procedure Rules outlined in Part 4 of the Authority's Constitution¹. The recruitment process for this role was delegated to the Appointments Panel, which is responsible for overseeing the attraction, evaluation, and selection of candidates. The recommendation will be put forward to the full Authority for confirmation on 25 February 2026. The report considered by the panel was open to the public, and the recruitment process was conducted with due regard to the Equality Act 2010².
