Scheme Manager Update

The Commissioner of the City of London Police was scheduled to provide an update on Scheme Manager activities. This report, also for information, detailed complaints and queries received, with a breakdown by theme, resolution status, and outstanding issues. It also included national updates on police pension scheme opt-outs and changes to employee contribution rates from April 2026.

City of London Police Pension Scheme - Risk Register

A report from the Chamberlain was scheduled to review the Risk Register for the Police Pensions Board. This document outlines key risks identified by the Board, along with their associated risk scores, likelihood, potential impact, and mitigation strategies. The report detailed eight specific risks, including the McCloud Legal Case, Cyber Security, Legislative Compliance, Pension Scheme Administration (Personnel and Systems), Pension Fraud, Actuarial Data, and Protected Pension Age. Updates to the risk register, including proposed changes to the current and target risk scores for the McCloud Legal Case, were to be presented.
