The Licensing Committee of Kensington and Chelsea Council was scheduled to consider proposals for pavement licensing, British Summer Time licensing, and highway amenity fees for the upcoming year. The committee was also set to review existing licensing fees.
Pavement Licensing, British Summertime Licensing, and Licensing Amenities on the Highway Fees and Charges 2026/27
This item on the agenda concerned the fees and charges that would be applied to pavement licences, British Summer Time licences, and other amenities placed on the highway for the 2026/27 period. The committee was scheduled to make a decision on these proposed fees.
Review of Licensing Fees
The committee was scheduled to undertake a review of its current licensing fees. This review would inform decisions on potential adjustments to these fees for the following year.
A moment of silence was scheduled at the beginning of the meeting to remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell tragedy. The agenda also included standard items such as apologies for absence and declarations of interest, as well as the confirmation of the minutes from the meeting held on 16 October 2025. Any other oral or written items deemed urgent by the Chair were also to be considered.
