Other events bidding for funding included a literary festival, a community film production, a music festival, and a summer festival of reading and culture for school children. - Sutton Community Fund: This fund, run by Community Action and funded by Sutton Council, was open until Monday 23 February. It is available to charities, faith, and community groups with an income of less than £100,000, with grants of up to £5,000 available.
- Local Committee Funding for Events and Projects: The North Cheam, Stonecot and Worcester Park Local Committee itself had allocated funds for community events and projects, with groups able to apply for up to £1,400. Projects supported in the 2025/26 financial year included the Monday Club at the Royal British Legion Social Club Worcester Park, Ruskin Drive Friends & Residents Big Lunch, St Raphael's Hospice Volunteer Celebration Day, Radio St Helier Live from the Care Home, Royal British Legion Worcester Park Remembrance Sunday costs, and a contribution to the Sutton Model Engineering Club's Public Liability Insurance.
- Public Realm Funding from Local Committees: This funding stream is for public realm capital projects. The report indicated that for the North Cheam, Stonecot and Worcester Park Local Committee, £41,463.50 had been committed to projects in 2025/26, with £24,281.39 remaining available. Completed projects included the installation of new bins on Buckland Way, new perennial plants, new entrance signs on Hamilton Avenue, an additional bench in Yardley Recreation ground, cleaning of the Worcester Park War Memorial, planting of cherry trees on Kingsmead Avenue and Worcester Park High Street, the Sutton Common Park Flood Prevention Project, and repaving of Parkland Path at The Hamptons.
