Richmond KPIs Review of Performance Management Approach

A report was scheduled to be presented concerning the current performance management arrangements for corporate plan KPIs. This discussion was intended to review areas for improvement in light of the upcoming implementation of the Local Outcomes Framework (LOF) in 2026 and feedback received from councillors regarding the number of current indicators and the Performance Management Framework. The report was also planned to include a comparison of Richmond's arrangements with those of other London councils and an initial analysis of Richmond's performance against provisional LOF metrics. The proposed KPI set for the 2026/27 financial year would take into account feedback received. The board was recommended to note the report's contents, provide feedback on proposed elements for the 2026 KPI review, and acknowledge that a more extensive KPI review would be conducted as part of the development of a new Corporate Plan later in 2026.
