The Merton Council Health and Wellbeing Board is scheduled to consider updates on the Merton Better Care Fund and actions related to creating healthier environments. The meeting will also include discussions on the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Merton Better Care Fund
The Board is scheduled to review the Q3 report for the Merton Better Care Fund. This fund aims to improve health and social care services for residents. The report will likely detail progress and outcomes for the third quarter of the financial year 2025-2026.
Healthy Places Actions Dashboard
A significant portion of the meeting is expected to focus on the Healthy Places actions dashboard.
This item will cover the outcomes of various initiatives designed to improve the healthiness of local environments and outline the next steps. The Board's input on these actions will also be considered. The report pack includes a comprehensive document detailing these actions, which is available as Healthy Places Actions Dashboard and an appendix titled Appendix A Health Wellbeing Board 10th March 2026 - Healthy Places Actions Full Deck.
Health and Wellbeing Strategy Year 2 Actions
The Board is also scheduled to receive a verbal update regarding the actions for Year 2 of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This strategy outlines the council's approach to improving the health and wellbeing of Merton's residents.
Joined-up Services Highlights
A verbal update is also anticipated concerning highlights of joined-up services,
which refers to the coordination of different public services to provide more effective support to residents. This discussion is in preparation for the next meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX. The agenda frontsheet for the meeting can be found here.
