This Licensing Committee deals with various applications for licences. Sub-Committees have also been established to deal with the Council’s additional licensing responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005 and in relation to the Council’s licensing and enforcement functions in relation to Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers, Vehicle and Private Hire Operators licences, caravan Sites, animal welfare, street trading, public protection and sex establishments.
