Ad Hoc Committee

The Ad Hoc Committee is a statutory committee required to be established in accordance with the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 2014 under section 41(1)(a) in relation to the admissible call-in of decisions “not arrived at after a proper consideration of the relevant facts and issues”.  Its role is to consider the process adopted by the decision-making committee.   The membership of the Committee is the Chairpersons and Deputy Chairpersons of all the Committees of the Council.
