The Executive is made up of the Leader and seven councillors appointed by the Leader. These councillors together comprise the Cabinet. Meetings of the Cabinet are normally open to the public except where personal or confidential matters are discussed. The Cabinet have to make decisions which are in line with the Council’s overall policies and budget.
