Public Safety and Protection Committee

The Public Safety and Protection Committee is a regulatory committee to which Full Council has delegated all functions relating to public safety and protection (e.g., regulation of the hackney carriage and private hire trades in Bristol; the authority to consider applications for a wide range of licensing matters, including Street Trading Licences; etc.).    The Full Committee considers matters of policy in relation to the work of its Sub-Committee.
