Adult Care and Health PDS Committee examines Executive decisions and reviews policy on care services for adults, including older people, adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health problems and learning disabilities, joint commissioning and health promotion. The Committee is also responsible for scrutinising health services. In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, members of the public may submit one question each on matters relating to the work of the Committee. Questions must have been received in writing 10 working days before the date of the meeting. Please let us know whether you want to attend the meeting in person to receive your reply, or whether you just want a written reply. The deadlines are expected to be: Meeting on 31st March 2026: 5pm on Tuesday 17th March 2026 Meeting on 16th June 2026: 5pm on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 Meeting on 8th September 2026: 5pm on Monday 24th August 2026 Meeting on 17th November 2026: 5pm on Tuesday 3rd November 2026 Meeting on 26th January 2027: 5pm on Tuesday 12th January 2027 Meeting on 16th March 2027: 5pm on Tuesday 2nd March 2027 Questions seeking clarification of the details of a report on the agenda may be accepted within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda. At special meetings, only questions clarifying reports on the agenda are taken.
