About

The Health and Wellbeing Board is a collaboration between Bromley Council and various partner agencies whose role is to understand their local community’s needs, agree priorities and encourage commissioners to work in a more joined up way. As a result, patients and the public should experience more joined-up services from the NHS and local councils in the future.   Health and wellbeing boards are a key part of broader plans to modernise the NHS to:   -  ensure stronger democratic legitimacy and involvement, -  strengthen working relationships between health and social care,  -  encourage the development of more integrated commissioning of services.   The Board brings together Bromley Councillors, GP’s, Public Health, the Clinical Commissioning Group and the Voluntary Sector.   In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, members of the public may submit one question each on matters relating to the work of the Board. Questions must have been received in writing 10 working days before the date of the meeting. The deadlines are expected to be:   Meeting on 16th April 2026: 5pm on Tuesday 31st March 2026   Meeting on 25th June 2026: 5pm on Thursday 11th June 2026 Meeting on 17th September 2026: 5pm on Thursday 3rd September 2026 Meeting on 26th November 2026: 5pm on Thursday 12th November 2026 Meeting on 11th February 2027: 5pm on Thursday 28th January 2027 Meeting on 22nd April 2027: 5pm on Thursday 8th April 2027   Questions seeking clarification of the details of a report on the agenda may be accepted within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda.
