Audit and Corporate Governance (Staff Appeals) Sub-Committee

Members of staff who have been dismissed on disciplinary or absence management grounds have the right to appeal to a Staff Appeals Panel. This Panel will normally consist of three councillors who will meet during the day to hear the staff member state their case and then to hear management respond.

The Panel's decision is binding upon the Council.
