About

The Dumfries and Galloway Licensing Board is constituted as an independent regulatory body by virtue of Section 5 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.     The main function of the Board is to regulate the sale of alcohol.    The Licensing Board is also required by the Gambling Act 2005 to regulate certain gambling activities.
