The purpose of the Health and Wellbeing Board is for advancing the health and wellbeing of the people of Hampshire, setting strategic direction to improve health and wellbeing and to encourage persons who arrange for the provision of any health or social care services in Hampshire to work in an integrated manner. The Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for assessing the health and wellbeing needs of Hampshire’s population and publishing a joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA). The Board is also responsible for developing a pharmaceutical needs assessment for Hampshire.
