Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education

The Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) supports the effective provision of religious and collective worship in schools.   SACRE advises the Local Authority on its provision of religious education. SACRE is legally comprised of four groups. (A)  representing religions other than the Church of England (B)  the Church of England (C)  Teachers’ Associations (D)  the Local Authority,

  as well as a number of co-opted members.
