Cabinet Committee - Local Issues

The Cabinet Committee (Local Issues) is made up of three Cabinet Members (including the Cabinet Members with responsibility for the Place Portfolio and one Cabinet Member with responsibility for the Corporate Services Portfolio) who consider objections in relation to;   •         New pedestrian crossings •         Road humps and other traffic calming measures •         Speed limit orders •         Traffic regulation orders (TRO’s) •         On-street and off-street parking orders   The Committee can also consider Highways Petitions, the disposal of council assets and determine all matters relating to the use of 20mph zones and 20mph speed limits.   The full list of matters delegated to the Committee can be found here: Section C Responsibility for Executive Functions
