The Council has decided to have one Overview and Scrutiny Committee with a Membership of ten and this shall be formed in accordance with the political balance provisions. The Committee Terms of Reference are part of the Council’s Constitution and can viewed at Part 3b. Under the Council’s Rules of Procedure, the Chairperson of the Council, the Leader and Deputy Leader of the Council and the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Strategy & Resources and the Performance, Governance & Audit Committees shall not serve on the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
