Standards

Quorum: 3 The Standards Committee is responsible for ensuring that the authority’s whistle blowing policy and complaints procedure operates effectively.  It also holds councillors and co-opted members to account by promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct through compliance with the Code of Conduct. Where necessary, Standards will investigate reports or complaints of breach of code of conduct.
