Purpose

Application for grant to the
North East Mayoral Combined Authority (NEMCA) to support the
Culture Hub and Market Place project. To seek delegated approval
under Constitution Rules Part 9, Section 3 for grant
applications.

Content

The Chief Executive exercises
powers of the Executive under the Constitution rules, Part 9,
Section 3 in consultation with the Leader and the Section 151
Officer to authorise a grant application to NEMCA as set out in the
body of the report.
 
The Chief Executive reports the
decision to the Chair of Corporate Services and Economic Growth
Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and the next meeting of the
Cabinet as set out in section Part 9, Section 3 in the
Constitution.
