Purpose

This report sets out the integrated approach
to health and work in Northumberland in relation to Connect to
Work, Economic Inactivity Trailblazer and Health and Growth
Aceelerator programmes.

Content

RESOLVED that:
 
a)      
Cabinet formally endorse the approach to Integrate health and
employment funding and support services as outlined in this report
and note progress to date.
 
b)      
Cabinet authorise the Executive Director of Children and Young
People and the Executive Director of Place and Regeneration in
consultation with the Executive Director of Transformation and
Resources to enter into the relevant agreements including a grant
funding agreement with NECA for the delivery of Connect to Work,
Local Supported Employment, a contractual agreement for the
delivery of Connect to Work, Individual Placement and Support, a
grant funding agreement for the Economic Inactivity Trailblazer and
a grant funding agreement for the Health and Growth Accelerator.
This is subject to relevant appraisals including consideration of
subsidy control compliance.?
 
c)      
Cabinet agree the establishment of the Integrated Health and Work
programme and approve the associated financial profile as set out
in section 7.2.
