East Midlands Shared Services Joint Committee

Nottingham City Council and Leicestershire County Council have a shared service partnership agreement in place for human resources, payroll, recruitment and finance transactional services. The East Midlands Shared Services (EMSS) Joint Committee oversees the strategic direction of the EMSS; monitors effectiveness of arrangements; and ensures effective delivery of the shared services functions.  It is an Executive committee made up of two executive councillors from each council.
