Joint Committee on Mineral and Waste Planning

The Joint Committee on Mineral and Waste Planning provides a forum for councillors from Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council to discuss matters relating to the preparation, content and review of mineral and waste planning policy across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, and provide advice to their respective Executive on these matters.  The Committee has four members from each council, and the chairing and administration of meetings alternates between the two councils every two years.  The Committee meets as and when required to undertake its role.
