The Licensing Applications Committee is responsible for the licensing and registration functions specified in the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) Regulations 2000 and the Licensing Act 2003, and other functions indicated in the Constitution. These include Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licences and Betting and Gaming Establishments.
