Purpose

Requesting Cabinet Approval to delegate
authority to the Executive director of place in consultation with
the Executive director of finance to prepare tender documentation
and conduct appropriate procurement process and award contracts
relating to the Housing Revenue Account.

Content

Resolved:-
 

(1)that delegated
authority is given to the Executive Director of Place, in
consultation with the Executive Director of Finance and
Transformation in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 and the
Councils Procurement and Contracts Procedure Rules, to prepare
tender documentation, conduct appropriate procurement processes and
to award contracts in relation to the to the two following
contracts:
·     
Housing Disrepair and Damp and Mould works;
·     
Supply of Home Adaptation Products including Wet Room Products.
 

(2)that delegated
authority is given to the Executive Director of Place, in
consultation with the Executive Director of Finance and
Transformation, for the extension of three current contracts as
follows:
·     
Gas Safety Inspections and Servicing;
·     
Gas Third Party Audit Inspections;
·     
Supply of Gas spares to the Gas Section.
 
(3)that delegated authority is
given to the Assistant Director, Legal and Assurance to enter or
execute under seal any documentation in relation to the award of
the documented contracts as noted in (1 and 2) above.
