Licensing Sub-Committee

  The Licensing Committee and the Licensing Sub-Committee carry out our statutory licensing role, including licensing for taxis and public entertainment.   The Members for Licensing Sub-Committee meetings are taken from the Licensing Committee.   As a lot of the work deals with individual cases, some meetings may not be open to members of the public.   Whilst recording is allowed at Committee meetings under the direction of the Chair of the meeting, Licensing Sub-Committee meetings may not be suitable for recording due to the nature of some of the evidence to be given, and the Chair will use discretion to decide if recording is allowed.
