Southwark Maternity Commission

The commission was formed by Councillor Evelyn Akoto, Southwark's Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing. It will:   ·  hold meetings, listening exercises and portals for women to share their experiences ·  raise community awareness about having a safe pregnancy and birth ·  bring about system-level change to help reduce inequalities in maternal outcomes ·  provide a message of solidarity to the people of Southwark    For more details, please go to: https://www.southwark.gov.uk/maternity-commission
