Code of Conduct Panel

Purpose and function   The purpose and function of the Code of Conduct Panel is:   To consider complaints about Councillors’ misconduct referred by the Monitoring Officer following an investigation and to make a determination in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and the Council’s Standards Complaints Procedure.   Composition   The Code of Conduct Panel will comprise three Councillors from the Audit and Governance Committee on a proportionate basis, where practicable, and an Independent Person (in an advisory capacity).
