A Full Council meeting involves all 47 Councillors, and is chaired by the Chair of the Council. Full Council has a range of functions including:
Setting the budget and council tax levels Setting the policy framework within which all decisions must sit Approving changes to the Council's Constitution Appointing the Leader of the Council Appointing Chairs, Vice Chairs and Members of the Committees. Appointing the Council's Senior Officers (on the recommendation of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee) Any other decisions which must be taken by Full Council in law and/or the Constitution.
