Licensing Committee

The Committee has responsibility for matters relating to licensed premises within the statutory provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005.   In connection with the consideration and determination of applications or concerning complaints against individual licence-holders under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 the Committee also has delegated its powers for hearings to be dealt with by the Council's Licensing Sub-Committee.
