Licensing Sub-Committee (Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005)

The Sub-Committee will comprise 3 Members of the Licensing Committee.   The 3 Members of the Licensing Sub-Committee will be drawn by the Borough Solicitor from the 15 Members of the Licensing Committee.  The first item of business will be the election of a Chairman for the hearing.  Upon election the Chairman will remind Members of the Sub-Committee of their obligation to declare any personal and prejudicial interests.   The quorum of the Sub-Committee will be 3.   The Sub-Committee will exercise the licensing powers and duties of the Council in respect of:   i) Licensing Act 2003 ii) Gambling Act 2005
