The Overview and Scrutiny Committee comprises 15 Members and its role includes: · Review and scrutinise Council policy and the decisions and performance of the Council’s Committees, issues of local concern and the scrutiny of other public bodies · Assist Council and Executive Committee in policy formulation and review · Exercise the right of call-in for reconsideration of decisions made, but not implemented by the Executive Committee · Consider any matter affecting the borough or its inhabitants
